TAKE A WALK…GIVE A TRIPP  

It’s that time again. That’s right. We are kicking off the campaign for our third annual “Take A Walk…Give A TRIPP” fundraiser and WE NEED YOU! This is an exciting year of growth for what we hope will be our biggest fundraiser. The walk will be held in Marietta sometime in April of 2007--exact date not scheduled yet. The following are the new addendums to this year’s event.

  • Lloyd Morris, Chief Ranger at Kennesaw Mountain has gone milestones to help us get a permit to walk up Kennesaw Mountain this year.
  • Gail Baird, Administrator of Shoreham Nursing & Rehabilitation has welcomed us to set up our start/finish point on their yard.
  • We will finish the event with a BBQ at the nursing home so you can meet many of the different beneficiaries of your hard work!
  • The permit restricts the amount of walkers we can have so participants are required to raise a minimum of $120(for one resident to go out for an entire year!) BUT if you raise $200 you will be entered in a raffle to win a long weekend getaway for 2!
  • There are MANY other donated prizes

 Please join us!!!  Simply complete the registration form and mail it along with your $10 registration fee. We have made “steps & strides” since last year for putting together a very successful event and I hope to see you this year! What we are doing means so much to our nursing home population. Just come and see.
